Hubby and I were out running around a few days ago trying to finish up some last-minute holiday errands. After we were done…we dropped by our local SONIC Drive-In to pick up some take-out dinner. You can decide if you want to eat there (in your car) or get your order to take home.
For this feature we order The Double Feature which included a SONIC cheeseburger and Classic or Master Shake. We elected to each get one of the Strawberry Classic Shakes with our meal, along with a side of Tots. If you’ve never tried their Tots, you really should! They’re one of my favorite menu items from SONIC!
Our cheeseburgers were loaded with all of the goodness you would want on a perfectly prepared cheeseburger. They had the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, and chopped onions. You can select whatever condiments that you would like. I’m a classic ketchup type of gal. The one thing that I want to mention is that these are NOT little sliders or thin burgers that you find at other fast-food type’s of restaurants. These burgers are a nice size and really fill you up.
The Classic Strawberry Shake was absolutely delicious! Each of our shakes were topped off with some whipped cream with a cherry on-the-top. One of the things I’ve always liked about the shakes at SONIC is that they taste real…they don’t taste artificial and I like the consistency of their shakes…not too thick nor too thin.

I have never tried the meals at a Sonic Drive-in. I think I would really enjoy the Breakfast burritos and the shakes.
(Wiping drool off my keyboard) I really want to try their Bacon, Onion and Tomato Lil’ Breakfast Burrito. I’m glad I could get this any time of day.
