First, let me tell you about our sponsor for this feature – Yoobi. The company is based on a bright yet simple idea: colorful, vibrant supplies for school, home or office that give to classrooms in need. For every Yoobi item purchased, Yoobi contributes a Yoobi item to a classroom in need, right here in the U.S.! So while we’re in the spirit of giving thanks – now is the time to support a great brand that is dedicated to giving back!
We received a complimentary Super Melty Bead Kit from Yoobi for our Crafting with Kid’s feature here on the blog. The kit is for children ages 6 years and up. They will need some adult supervision too.
The Super Melty Bead Kit includes:
– Over 2,000 Beads
– 1 Pattern Board
– 9 Design Templates
– Accessory Parts
– Ironing Paper
– Instructions
With this one kit your child can make beaded keychains, beverage coasters, card holders, refrigerator magnets, a necklace, pins and more! The design templates include fun emjoi, popsicle, watermelon, pineapple, hearts, cactus, pizza slice, etc. type of designs.
To Use:
This kit is really easy to use! You simple pick out a design & place the design template underneath the bead board. Choose your beads & colors and place them onto the small spiked pegs. Once done, an adult will need to do the next step.
Preheat oven to medium heat. Place one sheet of ironing paper on top of the bead design. Press the hot iron on top of the paper and iron slowly in a circular motion for 15-20 seconds or until the beads melt and fuse together. Leave it cool for about 2 minutes. Once it has cooled, remove the design from the pattern board.
You’ll then want to follow the finishing instructions to turn your new design into a magnetic, beverage coaster, piece of jewelry, etc. Fun!
My granddaughter is 8 1/2 years old and has been having a blast with her mew Melty Bead Kit! She works on the beaded design and then I do all of the melting with the iron. Once done, she can pretty much finish up the items into whatever piece she is designing. Everything you need (except for the iron) is included in the kit.

I can understand why kids would enjoy making designs with this fun kit. I enjoyed doing crafts such as this one when I was a child.
My granddaughter who is also 8 plays with these melty beads all the time. She can be so creative and imaginative with them.
My kids would love to make these! I used to have something very similar when I was little and I loved it!
This is perfect for my granddaughters. I have been looking for something like this for them. Thank you.
Now this looks fun and I like how creative it is. The colors are nice and I bet you could even work up your own patterns for this. As an Aunt, I love getting gifts like this from the kids. I know there was something close to this years back as I have a magnet my niece made years ago and still have it on my fridge. My niece gets a kick out of it when she sees it. I always ask their folks to have them sign and date it to remember it.
Love the Pretty Bright Colors on her Design! Yoobi Super Melty Bead Kit. This Kit would be a lot of fun for my Granddaughter and me to do. Love the Craft Kits. Thank You for sharing..
This looks like such a fun craft for the kids. I remember doing something like this when I was little and I loved it.
