Thinkfun Roller Coaster Challenge Thrill Ride Building Game

November 1, 2017 by Shelly

Thinkfun Roller Coaster Challenge Thrill Ride Building GameHow many of you regularly hold a family game night or play dates with the kids? Here at our home we hold family game night twice a month where we get together for pizza and games. It first started when our daughter was a little girl and has continued now that we’re grandparents. We look forward to these family play dates every month!

We recently received the Roller Coaster Challenge Thrill Ride Building Game from ThinkFun to try out for all of you. This game is for ages 6 and up, and has more than 100,000 unique building possibilities with 40 easy to super hard challenges.

One of the things I like about this game is that it’s a single player game. There are times when the family gets together and wants to play an adult game which leaves our 8 year old granddaughter – out! Now when we get together and are playing a game she can’t play or doesn’t want to play, she can get out her new Roller Coaster Challenge Game and play that.

The first time that she played it my husband sat down on the floor with her and showed her how to play it. From that time on…she’s been able to play it herself and will often sit and play it for a few hours at a time. It really helps her to focus on what she’s doing and to problem-solve along the way. In my opinion, it’s educational and fun!

This game just made Amazon’s Top 25 Holiday Toys List for this year and it has been featured in Good Housekeeping Magazine, USA Today’s All the Moms, Fatherly and more. And is a National Parenting Products Award winner. In other words, it’s one of the MUST-HAVE Toys this holiday season!!!

Head on over to ThinkFun and check out all of the wonderful toys and games that they have to offer. I think you’re going to love what you see. You can connect with the company on Facebook too.

I like that this is a single player game. I also like that it challenges the player to build and has different levels of difficulty.

This would be great for my godson. He has a mind like his father’s who is an engineer. Plus his family are all rollar coaster fans.

This is very different than any of the games that I have around currently. I think looks super fun and I do like the idea that it can be played on ones own. Definitely one that I would consider as a gift for my granddaughter.

This would be great for Alysia. She’s very good at building and she likes a challenge.
