What’s makes this item ultra-cool is that you can also use it to charge up your cellphone in an emergency. You’ll switch the battery power switch on and bottom of crank light to the off position. We spend a lot of time outdoors and one of the things that really impressed us with this one is that it has a built-in rescue beacon (a light) that can be seen up to 2.75 miles away!!! It fits comfortably in my hands and its compact size is perfect for stowing it away in a glove box, trunk of the car, backpack, handbag, tool box, etc. Hubby has been dragging this one around in his tool box when he goes out at night to do local HVAC calls.
