You can quickly charge it up with the built-in USB cable and it has a battery power switch to preserve your battery power. You can get up to 10 hours of low mode flashlight power on a full charge.

What’s makes this item ultra-cool is that you can also use it to charge up your cellphone in an emergency. You’ll switch the battery power switch on and bottom of crank light to the off position. Turn your cellphone off and then plug the USB cord from the phone into the USB output on the crank light. Crank for four minutes for one minute of talk time. How cool is that? Totally cool.

It features 4 different modes: High Light (500 lumens), Low Light (50 lumens), Red Flasher and the Beacon. It’s made out of rugged aluminum, is water resistant, has emergency signaling and has a beam distance of 790 feet.

We spend a lot of time outdoors and one of the things that really impressed us with this one is that it has a built-in rescue beacon (a light) that can be seen up to 2.75 miles away!!! Plus, it has a built-in emergency whistle, an included carabiner and the 4 AA batteries are included too. It’s ready to go right out of the package! This is a definite must-have (in our book) if you spend time outdoors (skiing, hiking, boating, hunting, rock climbing, fishing, camping, etc.).

The Life+Gear STORMPROOF Signal Light has 4 different lighting modes: High Light (120 lumens), Low Light (10 lumens), High + Glow and the Safety Flasher. It’s shock-proof, has an extended run time and comes and is water proof. It comes with 4 AA batteries too!

As a woman…I really like this one because of it’s simple features and it’s slender profile. It fits comfortably in my hands and its compact size is perfect for stowing it away in a glove box, trunk of the car, backpack, handbag, tool box, etc. Hubby has been dragging this one around in his tool box when he goes out at night to do local HVAC calls. He loves it too.
