The Must-Have Holiday Toy – John Deere Mega Wheels Tractor

November 9, 2017 by Jenelle

John Deere Monster Treads Mega Monster Wheels TractorLike most little boys, my son adores playing with trucks, cars, tractors and action-figures. You can give him those type’s of toys and he will sit for hours, upon hours playing with them. I can also guarantee you that when we leave the house to run errands, one of those type’s of toys goes along with us.

He just celebrated his birthday back in early September and was introduced to John Deere tractors and toys. He received three different ones for gifts and has been hooked on them ever since.

John Deere Monster Treads Mega Monster Wheels Tractor

For this review we received the TOMY John Deere Monster Treads Mega Monster Wheels Tractor which is made for children ages 3 and up. 3 AAA batteries are required and included with the item. What’s really cool about this monster-style tractor is that when kids push down on the cab, it will expand the monster-wheels outwards. If they push down on the cab a second time, it will retract them. You do NOT need the batteries to operate this part at all.

However, if you use the batteries the tractor becomes more fun and interactive. Every time your child pushed down on the cab he or she will activate real tractor sounds, which makes play time even more fun! It’s made out of heavy-duty plastic, so your child can play with it safely indoors or outdoors. In addition, it’s a really nice size (medium-sized) measuring in at approximately 8″ by 8″ by 6″ in size.

This is a licensed John Deere product, made by TOMY…so you know you’re getting something that is quality-made and is from the Monster Treads line of products.

John Deere Mega Wheels Tractor

We’ve been working on potty training with my son and he’s been doing really well with it. As a reward, we decided to give him this new John Deere Tractor and its been a real winner with him! He’s been playing with it almost non-stop and takes it everywhere with him. As a parent, I’m really impressed with the construction of the tractor, because like most little boys, my son can be a little hard on his toys. This tractor holds up to everything he puts it through which is impressive!

The John Deere Mega Wheels Tractor is available at numerous retailers across the nation and from several retailers online. Amazon currently has the item for a really great price!

I keep my eyes open for unique gifts starting in September, and try to get all of my shopping done by end of November. I really don’t like to shop in the stores in December because of the crowds, and the choices seem to be limited, or picked over. I find that I am doing much more on-line purchasing. It is so convenient, I have more choices, and I don’t have to drive in the dark, snowy weather here in N. Michigan to go to the shopping areas. I would love to win a John Deere Mega Wheels Tractor from TOMY for my 4 year old grandson. What a great holiday gift!
