Recently I received the Beautiful Bundts: 100 Recipes for Delicious Cakes & More book to review for all of you. While I’ve baked a lot of cakes during my lifetime, I’ve ONLY ever made a handful of bundts. Now that I have a brand new bundt baking pan, I’m looking to expand my horizons.

The author, Julie Anne Hession has created 100 delicious and versatile recipes, from the retro classics to modern twists, for every occasion. The recipes are easy to make and the results are nothing short of spectacular. There are vegan and gluten-free options, so absolutely everyone can enjoy these incredible bundts. There are full-color photographs throughout the book and I appreciate that the author included some preparation and serving tips along the way.
Included in the book are recipes for sweet & savory bundts including: classic budnts, breakfast & brunch bundts, filled bundts, layered & swirled bundts, pull-apart bundts, holiday bundts, international bundts & puddings, mini’s, savory bundts and a delicious macaroni and four-cheese bundt. If you’re going to be entertaining for the holidays or have an upcoming family reunion, you should try out one of the author’s recipes for a bundt that feeds 16 people!
The Christmas holiday is coming up and on page 132 is the author’s recipe for Cherry, Vanilla and Chocolate Chunk Swirl Bundt and guess what? I’ve got that page marked and I’ll be making it and serving it at our annual holiday party. It looks really easy to make and I’m excited to give it a try On page 114 is the author’s recipe for a Strawberries and Cream Bundt and that is on must-make list too! Okay, I admit, I’ve got about 15 recipes bookmarked that I definitely have to try!
