Candy Corn Fruit Cups Recipe
jicama, cut into bite sized cubes
cantaloupe, cut into bite sized cubes
pineapple, cut into bite sized chunks
TAJÍN® Clásico Seasoning.
Directions: In a clear glass, layer jicama, then cantaloupes and finish with pineapples. Sprinkle with Tajin and serve right away or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Jicama Bats and Jack O’ Lanterns Recipe
Jicama peeled
TAJÍN® Clásico Seasoning.
Directions: After peeled, carefully cut the jicama into slices – approximately 1-inch thick. Lay each slice flat on a cutting board. Using a bat-shaped cookie cutter, push down firmly to create your jicama bats. Do the same with the jack o’ lantern-shaped cookie cutter. Sprinkle TAJÍN® Clásico on top of the jicama shapes until cover them. Serve immediately.

I would not mind using the Jicama , but I am not a fan of chili pepper, so I would not use the Tajin seasoning. I liie my Halloween treats to be mild, not spicy.
I have seen Jicama in the grocery store but have never bought it because not sure what to do with it. These look like some good recipes to use to give it a try.
What does Jicama taste like? Sounds healthy. I’ll have to make those cute bats and find out!
I dont think I have even seen a Jicama before much less tasted one. I am all for non candy treats and these look good. I am going to have to find one of those Jicama things just to try it!
