Fun Frugal Finds: Vintage-Looking Glass Holiday Ornaments
A few weeks ago I headed into my local A.C. Moore’s store looking for some Fall & Autumn items for my home. They’ve been advertising big sales on all of that stuff for weeks now. Sure, I went in and I bought a few things for 40% off, but what I showing you all today was an even BIGGER deal!
First…I decorate my Christmas tree every year in a beach & coastal theme. I picked up six vintage-style glass ball ornaments in a pretty light turquoise color for my tree. I would of purchased more…if they had more! They’re quite large in size, about 4″ in diameter. Original price was $12.99 each. I paid $1.00 each and they’re beautiful.
I then spotted the vintage-style glass Princess ornament and snatched that one up for my 8 year old granddaughter and the elf riding a reindeer for my 2 year old grandson. Original price was $12.99 each. I paid $1.00 each.
The clerk told me that these ornaments are from last year’s stock and they were clearing them out now, because the 2017 stock was already on their shelves. Well, I don’t care that they’re from last year…they still look beautiful for this year.
So, on this bargain hunt…I snagged up 8 glass Christmas Tree ornaments for $1.00 each and still paid LESS THAN the full price for one! Each one originally cost $12.99 and I paid $8.00 plus tax and got eight of them. Yes…I love bargain shopping!!!
In a few weeks I will be publishing a Christmas Traditions post here on the blog where I’m giving you a few tips on how to start an ornament collection for your kids and/or grandchildren in your life and how to do it at a bargain price, etc. Look for that post in the near future.
What kind of bargains, deals, thrift store and/or flea market-yard sale finds have you found the past week? Any good deals out there?
