How many of you have started your Christmas and holiday shopping? I started mine back in May of this year. I’m always on the lookout for must-have gifts, that I find at a great bargain price! Even though it’s the end of September, I’m about 70% done with my holiday shopping.
My fun frugal finds this week are gorgeous ones! Let’s start with the two jewelry pieces that I picked up a few weeks ago.
I purchased the stainless steel and genuine howlite necklace for my daughter for Christmas. Yes, she knows about it and picked it out. The necklace was regularly priced at $49.99 and I got it on clearance for $12.99. I then used a coupon which brought it down to $8.99 and it came in a nice gift box! She loves big & bold (statement) necklaces and this one is definitely that!
My best friend Renee and I recently celebrated our 50th birthdays. I wanted something special for the two of us. I found these genuine blue quartzite bracelets and fell in-love with them. The blue quartzite was mined in our home state of Pennsylvania. I purchased two of them, one for each of us. Each one was regularly priced at $39.99 and were on clearance for $9.99 each. I then used a coupon and got each of them for $7.99 each. What a deal. We love our new bracelets and they’re genuine gemstones!
My sister-in-law enjoys gardening and she loves those garden gnomes. Every year at the end of summer…I go out and find a new garden gnome for her collection. Yes, I always find them on clearance (after-season sale). I found this solar-powered garden gnome which was regularly priced at $19.99 and I picked it up on final clearance for $4.00. Yes…four bucks! Wahoooo! I put it into a nice gift box and have it ready to go for Christmas.

You found some great deals this time. Where did you purchase the necklace? I was able to find some beautiful zip up cardigans at my K-mart which is unfortuinately closing soon. I paid nothing because I had reward points.

I also shop year round. I am always on the lookout for things that I think my family would like that is on sale. I am able to get so much more for my budgeted money when they are on sale.
I shop year round starting in January. Have not been shopping the last couple of months.
