Travel Easier with the TravelWise Packing Cube System

5 Packing Cubes by TravelWiseWe love to travel and luckily for us, we get to travel pretty often. When it comes to traveling, I hate packing and unpacking our items. I tend to be a messy packer and often times I over-pack on the items that we need. On top of that, I waste a lot of time digging around in our luggage looking for the item(s) that I need.

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the TravelWise 5-Piece Weekender Packing Cube System on our trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. During this particular trip, we had to pack and unpack at 2 different locations. It was important to keep our items organized and trust me, it made for a much nicer trip having things in their proper place.

The TravelWise Packing Cube System contains 5 different sized cubes: 1 Small, 2 Medium and 2 Large cubes. These cubes allow you to pack similar items together which keeps them organized and saves space inside your luggage. They’re made out of a durable nylon fabrication, but yet they’re light-weight. Each one has a 2-way zipper entry/closure for ease of use.

One of the best features with these cubes is that they have an open-mesh area which allows you to easily see what’s inside, without having to open up each cube to find what you want. They’re perfect for a weekend getaway or for an extended trip. You can toss them into your luggage, a weekender bag, backpack, gym bag or tote bag.

During our recent trip, I used BOTH sets of the packing cubes that I received for the review. They come in 5 different colors, so I highly suggest you get a different color for every member in your family. I used one color to organize and pack my items and my husband used the other color for his. We were able to keep our items separated, neatly organized and it was a huge time saver when it came to finding the items that we wanted.

Here’s how I used my 5-piece set of packing cubes:

Small Cube: travel-size hair dryer, flat iron, hair brush and pony tail holders

Medium Cubes: (1) held my socks, underwear and bras (1) held my pajamas, swimsuit, light-weight jacket and sun hat.

Large Cubes: (1) held all of my tops (1) held all of my shorts, capris and a skirt.

You can use them however you see fit and according to your own needs. It was nice to open up my suitcase and see everything neatly organized. Plus, I noticed that I didn’t have to deal with any wrinkling, like I do with traditional packing methods.

In my honest opinion, these packing cubes are golden! I absolutely love them and every time we travel, we’ll be using them!
