The dog-days of summer are finally here and I’m always look for portable and healthy snacks to take along with us. We’re a busy family and we’re always on-the-go.
Crunchies freeze-dried snacks are made with just one simple ingredient – fresh fruit – and make the perfect low-cal, gluten-free, all-natural addition to smoothies, acai bowls, sorbet and more. If you’re like me, you can just open a bag and snack on them right out of the bag too!
* Complimentary Samples Received for Review & Feature.
Try Crunchies Mango for a touch of sweet in a refreshing tropical smoothie, or topping an acai bowl with Crunchies Strawberries for a nutritious pop of color & crunch. They’re great tossed into a bowl of cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and ice cream too!
For this foodie feature we received 5 complimentary bags of Crunchies to try out for all of you.
* Freeze-Dried Beets
* Freeze-Dried Strawberries
* Freeze-Dried Strawberry Banana
* Freeze-Dried Mango
* Freeze-Dried Mixed Fruit
As soon as they arrived my family had the Freeze-Dried Mixed Fruit and the Freeze-Dried Mango opened and were snacking on them straight from the bag. I like to pour them into little bowls and they just grab a handful and go.
What’s really cool about Crunchies is that they contain about 3.5 servings of real fruit. It’s a great way to get extra fruit into your daily diet without putting a lot of effort into it. Next, they need no refrigeration, so it’s a great on-the-go snack!
Calories range from 35 to 40 calories per serving, so they’re perfect for those of us who are watching our weight. Having fruit that is conveniently available is a great way to eat “healthier” snacks and to avoid the bad ones.
Unlike other freeze-dried fruit snacks that I’ve tried in the past, the Crunchies are indeed crunchy, but not teeth-breaking hard. Matter of fact, if you let them sit in your mouth, they practically melt within seconds. Great for people who have chewing problems or jaw issues.
Those 5 bags of Crunchies didn’t last long in my house! Within 5 days, my family had devoured all 5 bags! There wasn’t a bad flavor in the bunch! I would seriously buy them all!
You can learn more about them by visiting Crunchies Food online and you can connect with the company on Facebook too.

I would love to have these as an easy snack to take to the park and beach. I like to have healthy choices for my grandkids when they visit and these would be quick and easy as well.
I have received and eaten freeze dried mangos. The mangos have a different texture and they melt in your mouth.
I get a few pieces of fruit like bananas, a few pears, and melons, well they ripen so fast. I have a hard enough time trying to keep my veggies fresh so to have dried fruit would be so convenient and you can just through them in your purse and not have to worry if you don’t eat them. I’d like to get an assortment at first and see what my favorites are. They all look pretty good though.
I like that they taste great and don’t need refrigeration. I’d be interested in trying the beets. Never had those freeze dried before.
These sound so healthy and perfect for those afternoon snacks. I really want to try the mango ones those sound so good. I am going to look for these thanks for sharing this one.
I love that stuff, I like to keep some in the car.
