Three years ago I jumped on the adult coloring book bandwagon. It’s a great way to reduce stress, to force myself to sit down & to relax and I love turning my finished pages into crafty works of art. I can personally tell you that it has INDEED helped me to relax at night and that it’s a great way to unwind after a long day.

Recently I received a complimentary copy of the Creative Haven Celtic Mandalas Coloring Book to review for all of you. This book is designed for experienced colorists and offer an escape to a world of inspiration and artistic fulfillment. Shelly’s Thoughts: I own several of the Creative Haven adult coloring books and enjoy them a lot! There one of my favorite series when it comes to coloring books. All of the designs in this book are printed on high-quality, bleed resistant paper that has a perforated binding edge, so that you can easily remove the page from the book.
Coloring in Mandalas is always one of my favorite type’s of designs to work on. They’re fairly easy and you can use any color combination that you want. When I work on my coloring pages, I like to use glitter gel ink pens, but you can certainly use your favorite colored pencils, markers, paint pens, etc.
A few days ago I finished up this very cool Celtic Mandala design and I think it turned out really nicely! What’s really cool with coloring in Mandalas is that you can mat and frame them into some stunning artwork for your home or office. If you’re into cardmaking and/or scrapbooking, you can use them in your paper crafting too.
