Creative Haven Art Nouveau Jewelry Designs Coloring Book
Three years ago I jumped on the adult coloring book bandwagon. It’s a great way to reduce stress, to force myself to sit down & to relax and I love turning my finished pages into crafty works of art. I can personally tell you that it has INDEED helped me to relax at night and that it’s a great way to unwind after a long day.
Recently I received a complimentary copy of the Creative Haven Art Nouveau Jewelry Designs Coloring Book to review for all of you. The designs in this book are by artist Carol Schmidt and it’s published by Dover Publications.

Shelly’s Thoughts: I’m a HUGE fan of the adult coloring books in the Creative Haven series and own at least 10 of them in my personal collection. They’re some of my favorite coloring books in the entire world! All of the designs are printed on high-quality, bleed resistant paper, printed on one page side ONLY and each page has a perforated binding-edge, so that you can easily remove it from the book.
All 30 of the designs in this book are girly and just plain fun! They definitely take you back to a feminine period in time…the Art Nouveau period. I love girly-girl things like jewelry, handbags, flowers, shoes, etc. so all of these designs are perfect for me and really fun to color.
When I color I like to use glitter gel ink pens, but you could certainly use your favorite colored pencils, markers, paint pens or whatever coloring medium you prefer. I used glitter gel pens and had NO problems with the ink bleeding or the paper tearing at all. Matter of fact, I think the design that I colored turned out beautifully. Don’t ya think?
