Revolting Rhymes Classic Fairy Tales with a Mischievous Twist DVD

July 20, 2017 by Jenelle

Revolting Rhymes Classic Fairy Tales with Mischievous Twist DVDToday we have a brand new children’s DVD to tell you about and guess what? We’ll be giving away one copy of the DVD to one of our lucky readers right here on Two Classy Chics blog!

Public Media Distribution, LLC announced today it is releasing “REVOLTING RHYMES” on DVD.

Produced by award-wining company Magic Light Pictures the animations are based on the extraordinary book written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake.

Will Little Red Riding Hood become a meal for an unwelcome guest? Can Snow White escape the wrath of her evil stepmother? Will the wolf be able to blow the pig’s house down? How can Jack get past the Giant and find the golden treasure? Who will Cinderella marry? Narrator Wolf has all the answers, as well as a tale of his own to tell.

“REVOLTING RHYMES” will be available on DVD August 15th, 2017. The DVD run time is approximately 60 minutes. The program is also available for digital download.

The stories included on this DVD are listed below.

Part One – Snow White, Red Riding Hood and Three Little Pigs
Snow White and Red Riding Hood become lifelong friends as Snow White takes on the might of the wicked Queen, whilst Red is called home to deal with a pair of hungry wolves – one who’s eaten her grandma and then dressed in her clothes, while the other can’t help himself from eating some unsuspecting pigs.

Part Two – Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk
Jack grows up with his heart set on next-door neighbor Cindy. She has her eye turned by the eligible Prince at the ball, and Jack gets distracted by a giant beanstalk at the bottom of his garden. Will they find true love?
