It’s a great way to reduce stress, to force yourself to sit down & to relax and I love turning my finished pages into crafty works of art. I can personally tell you that it has INDEED helped me to relax at night and that it’s a great way to unwind after a long day.

I’m a huge fan of adult coloring books and this was my first book from artist Thaneeya McArdle. As soon as I opened up the book and thumbed through all of the beautiful designs, I immediately became a fan. These type’s of designs are appropriate for anyone and everyone! She is one of the world’s most popular coloring book artists and has sold over 3 million copies of her books. I can totally see why!

All of the designs in this book have a perforated edge, so that you can easily tear them out. The designs are printed on high-quality paper that resists bleed-through and it’s acid-free, so it will last for up to 200 years! Each design comes with tips & techniques, to give you some coloring ideas and I love that there are fully colored examples throughout the book.

When it comes to coloring, I prefer to use glitter gel ink pens and they’re perfect for this coloring book. However, if you prefer using colored pencils, paint pens or markers, those are perfectly fine too. In the example that I colored (shown in this feature) I used glitter gel pens.

I absolutely LOVE my new adult coloring book! So far, I’ve colored in 4 of the designs and I’m completely hooked on her artwork. It’s beautiful and the designs bring a smile to my face.
