Delicious Fruit and Veggie Chips from Natural Sins

July 24, 2017 by Shelly

Natural SinsWe do a lot of traveling and I’m always looking for healthier snack options to take along with us. The majority of the time when we travel, it’s by car (road trips), so I need snacks that don’t need refrigerated, won’t melt in heat and ones that won’t cause a mess. Plus, they have to taste good!

* Complimentary Samples Received.

Let me introduce you to Natural Sins who makes a line of fruit and veggie chips that are gluten free and contain ONLY 2 ingredients: the fruit (or vegetable) and pure can sugar. Yup, that’s it, just 2 ingredients! They’re the “un-potato chip” that’s healthier for you and they contain a LOT less calories than a traditional potato chip.

For this feature I received 4 different flavors to try out for all of you. We received the following: Crispy Beet Chips, Crispy Mango Chips, Crispy Coconut Chips and Crispy Pineapple Chips.  Each 1 oz. bag contains a single serving. Here’s an example of the calories for each:

Crispy Mango Chips 92 Calories per Serving
Crispy Beet Chips 100 Calories per Serving
Crispy Coconut Chips 168 Calories per Serving
Crispy Pineapple Chips 98 Calories per Serving

These fruit and veggie chips are sliced thin and are crispy, just like a potato chip. Each of the flavors tastes exactly like the fruit or veggie that they’re made from. I’ve tried other snacks in the past that are similar to these, but let me tell you…these are BY FAR the best that I’ve tried in this category. They’re flavorful, crunchy and very easy-to-chew. If you have any type of chewing or jaw problems, you’ll have no issue with these chips at all.

Recently we took a 4-day road trip and before we left the house we opened the Crispy Mango Chips and quickly devoured them. I saved the other three bags and took them along with us. I really loved that I didn’t have to pack them into a cooler and the family could enjoy them in the car without making a mess! They’re flavorful and oh-so good!

    I would love to try all these chips, but I would probably eat too much. Each bag has about 13 grams of sugar. I wonder how much comes from the natural fruit and how much from the cane sugar.

    I would really love to try the Pineapple and the Coconut!! I too have tried others in the past different Brands and they were so hard you could barely bite into them. You said these are not hard easy to chew Hooray that’s what I have been looking for. Now that I know this, I will go grocery shopping and pick up a few bags of these better for you chips. Thank You for a Great Review!

    I have found that many of the healthy snacks don’t taste so good these seems like they are quite flavorful. I always like having something crunchy as a snack and think these would be a good treat. I think coconut would probably be my favorite.

    These look prettier than my fruit and veggies I dehydrate. I’ve given up sugar though and these have a bit much for me. Maybe in the future they’ll consider making them with Stevia as an alternative.

    I’d start with the Pineapple Chips since I love pineapple. These would be so great for road trips.
