Synopsis: Dance along with Strawberry Shortcake and her friends’ adventures! Apple causes “The Berry Bitty Dance Disaster” when she invents groove booties to keep up with her pals’ moves. Strawberry and Plum use the booties to teach puppies ballet, but one will become a “Doggie Dance No-Show.” And Cherry Jam must find a solution when she can’t escape the popularity of her “Dance Puppy Dance” song.

Our Thoughts: My daughter has been a big fan of Strawberry Shortcake and all of her “fruity” friends she was 2 1/2 years old. Over the years we’ve given her several of the Strawberry Shortcake DVD’s, toys, etc. Heck, three years ago she dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween. She’s one of her favorite animated characters!
A few days ago I had a couple of her little girlfriends over to the house for a sleepover to celebrate the Princess’ birthday. It was raining outside, so I had to come up with things for the girls to do inside. Luckily, this children’s DVD arrived just in time!
I popped in the DVD and the girls sat down to watch it while eating cake & ice cream. Several times I caught them singing along and getting up to dance while the video was playing. Matter of fact, they had a little contest on who could dance the best and the winner got an extra piece of cake. Fun for them!
As always, Strawberry Shortcake is quality entertainment for little girls to enjoy. It’s one of those programs that you don’t mind your little ones watching and it teaches them important life skills and it’s always fun & entertaining for them to watch.
