During the summertime we spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying our swimming pool, playing backyard games, entertaining guests on our deck and working on our gardens. We love being outside in the sunshine and breathing-in the fresh air.
However, one nasty problem that comes with being outdoors are the nasty bites you get from mosquitoes! Mosquito bites are painful, itchy and mosquitoes can transmit diseases that none of us want to deal with. With that said, you can now protect your outdoor spaces from mosquitoes with the Zapplight!

We were provided with a complimentary Zapplight to try out for all of you and installed the light bulb/bug zapper in one of our outdoor light sockets that’s on our back deck. Unlike most decks, our’s has a roof, but the sides are not enclosed. When we sit out on the deck to entertain or after enjoying the pool, the mosquitoes can eat us alive!
During the summertime we love being outside, but we don’t enjoy the bug bites that come along with it. Last year it was extremely bad and I had to visit my doctor several times to have infected bug bites treated. This year, I am determined to keep those nasty mosquitoes away!
My husband installed the Zapplight on the very first day that we received it. Later that evening we got into the pool and then afterwards we hung out on the deck while he was grilling us our dinner. The first thing that I noticed was that I wasn’t constantly swatting at bugs to stay away. We were out on the deck for a good 90 minutes and usually, I don’t last that long due to the bugs attacking me. I was very impressed on night one!
Over the past 10 days we’ve spent some considerable amount of time out on the back deck and I have to admit, we’ve rarely gotten bit! While I can’t say it’s worked 100% of the time, I can tell you that it’s worked for us at least 90% of the time. By that I mean this…the week before when I was out on the deck I got nailed 7 times in 30 minutes by mosquitoes. In the past 10 days since we’ve installed the Zapplight…I’ve gotten nailed twice! Yes, ONLY twice in ten days! That’s a considerable improvement!
I absolutely LOVE our new Zapplight and the job that it’s doing!

No chemicals or sprays-good! And there is just a 1-9 W energy use for these products. all around environmentally friendly. With Zika on the rise, this is an additional layer of defense. I like to sit outside evenings, but do not want to get bitten much.
