One Fur All’s Furever Loved Memorial Candle Is a Sweet Way to Remember

For the first time in my adult life, I don’t have a cat. A few months ago, my beautiful cat Crow died suddenly, shortly before we moved from the Northeast to the South. I gathered all of Crow’s things and brought them to the shelter Crow came from, where they’ll be put to good use or given to new cat owners who need cat supplies. So here I am, catless, in a new house in a new state. I miss Crow; he was playful, smart, and fun, and I loved him dearly.

As regular readers of The Classy Chics may know, I’ve had the good fortune to review several seasonally-fragranced Pet House candles from One Fur All, and I’ve been quite impressed with their quality. Now One Fur All has a wonderful new product for those of us who have lost our beloved pets: The Furever Loved Memorial Candle.

Like all of One Fur All’s standard-sized 8.5-ounce candles, the Furever Loved Memorial Candle is made in the USA using hand-poured 100% natural soy wax, with no dyes, paraffin, or petroleum by-products. Its reusable lidded glass jar has a pretty overwrap decorated on the front with multi-colored pawprints shaped into a heart, and images of flowers, leaves, and pawprints scattered around the rest of it, interspersed with comforting words like “Loyal,” “Best Friend,” “Love,” and “Memories.” The back features the touching and very apt statement, “Gone from my life but forever in my heart,” which perfectly describes how I feel about my precious cat, Crow.

My favorite feature of One Fur All’s Pet House candles is how well they eliminate pet odors, especially those smells that owners of indoor cats are all too familiar with. This magic is accomplished by the inclusion of odor neutralizers along with their blend of essential oils, which effectively freshens the air while imparting a nice scent. The Furever Loved Memorial Candle’s fragrance is light and sweet, a pleasant balance of floral and citrus scents, along with hints of honey and vanilla. As with the other One Fur All candles I’ve used, I find that simply removing the lid imparts a touch of fragrance, which is intensified when the candle is lit.

I think a Furever Loved Memorial Candle would be a great gift for someone who has lost a cherished pet, particularly if they still have other pets in the household, since like all of One Fur All Pet’s candles, it neutralizes pet odors as it burns. But even if the household no longer has any pets, this lovely scented candle would be welcome, and the pretty overwrap and reusable jar would be a nice reminder of the pet who has passed as well as the thoughtfulness of the gift-giver.
