My Thoughts: I jumped onto the adult coloring book bandwagon three years ago and love it! A few times a week I sit down during the evening hours and work on a page in one of my books. I find it to be relaxing and a great way to explore my creativity. Even my 8 year old granddaughter enjoys sitting down and coloring in my books!
Up until now…there were no coloring and activity books made specifically for the older child. The books her little brother uses are too “kiddie-like” for her, but yet the one’s that I use are too “adult-like”. The Notebook Doodles Go Girl! Coloring & Activity Book is perfect for and is totally directed toward’s her age group.
The designs in this book are cute, girly, inspirational and just fun to complete! All of the designs are printed on high-quality paper with a perforated edge, so that you an easily remove the completed design from the book. We like to use Glitter Gel Pens when we color and these pens don’t bleed through the paper. A sign that it’s a really nice quality of paper inside the book!
Even though these designs are geared towards young girls…I think they are great for Mom’s and Grandmother’s too! I often color-in cute designs and write a little note to my granddaughter on the back of the page. I then pop them into an envelope and mail them to her. Yes, she lives just 8 minutes away, but she loves getting mail. If your a mom/grandmother and enjoy coloring, you can pick up this book, complete the designs and mail them off as little inspirational gifts to the young girl or girls in your life. Fun!

These are so useful to cover journals or cover/upcyle boxes. I’ve even laminated a few of my coloring pages so they last longer. I need to invest in some glitter pens and I’m sure teens go nuts over those, as I do. I love the idea of mail the pages off to family and friends.
I know some tween girls who would really enjoy this book. I also love that Amazon price very reasonable. Thank you for sharing this one I think it would make a nice little gift.
