Our Thoughts: I always like finding new movies for us to watch during our family movie nights and this one is definitely different than the majority of films we see. Since this movie is geared toward’s teens and young adults, we invited our 15 year old niece and 16 & 18 year old nephews over for a movie date and pizza.
The movie is a combination sci-fi and romantic-adventure all wrapped up into one, at least in my opinion. The acting is pretty decent and this is the first film that I’ve seen with most of these new-comers but I could be mistaken. I am familiar with actor Gary Oldman and he played a fabulous part in this movie.
The movie is pretty entertaining, due to it being different than most other movies out there. With that said, there were a few parts that I felt were a tad on the boring side, but overall, a decent movie to see. I don’t give out movie spoilers, but I will say that the movie didn’t end exactly the way that I thought it would, so that was a nice surprise at the end.
