I’ve was born to craft. Seriously, I been an avid crafter since the age of 8. I’ve always enjoyed the various arts and craft projects I would make at school, in Girl Scout’s and in my church youth group. That love for arts and crafts has fallen me into adulthood. If you read this blog regularly, you will find hundreds of different craft projects that I’ve shared with all of you over the years.
Today I’m featuring a brand new crochet kit from Thunder Bay Press that I received for review. If you enjoy crocheting, I think you’re going to love this kit. Here’s some more information about it.
This spring, Thunder Bay Press expands its pop culture crochet collection to a hit Disney movie with Zootopia Crochet. The kit comes complete with all the materials crafters need to get started! Parents can create their children’s favorite characters from blockbuster hit Zootopia with Zootopia Crochet (June 2017; ISBN: 978-1-68412-017-8; $24.99; 76 pages).
The kit includes yarn, a crochet hook, needle, thread, stuffing, felt, and safety eyes – everything fans need to make Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, as well as illustrated instructions for ten more cuddly characters that will make an adorable addition to any fan’s collection, regardless of age. What’s really cool is that once you run out of supplies, you can go to your local craft store to buy more and continue to make the rest of the characters. Any general craft supply store will have them.
The included book has all of the instructions to make the following Disney Zootopia Characters:
Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Chief Bogo, Officer Clawhauser, Mayor Lionheart, Assistant Mayor Bellwether, Flash, Duke Weaselton, Emmitt Otterton, Mr. Big, Kostov and Gazelle.
I’m currently on vacation and I brought along the kit with me, so you can see that I’m just starting the kit. Once I have a character completed, I’ll update my post again. I love that they include enough supplies for you to make the first two characters and then you can head to the craft store to pick up additional supplies to make the entire Zootopia clan. Cool!
I love the crochet and craft kits that you can purchase from Thunder Bay Press and own several of them. Even if your not a crafter, they make great gifts to people who are! I know I would love to receive them as gifts! You can learn more by visiting Thunder Bay Press online.
