When it comes to baked goods, banana is a go-to flavor for me, so when I saw these Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins with Zucchini, I just had to try them. If you’re not a fan of eating zucchini, don’t worry…you barely can taste it at all. In my honest opinion, I tasted the banana and chocolate chips, which was the perfect combination of both! I tried them at room temperature and I heated one up in the microwave and both were equally good, although I enjoyed it more after it was heated.
Carrot Berry Muffins are made with fresh carrots. They are gluten-free, 120 calories per serving, 3g fiber with 5g whole grains. The package came with 4 individually wrapped muffins that you store in the freezer until ready-to-use. Once you’re ready, you can microwave one in the microwave for 35 seconds or thaw one out at room temperature and then enjoy.
I admit, I’m not a huge fan of carrots and I won’t eat them raw. When I do eat carrots, they have to be in a baked good for me to consume, like a muffin or sweat bread. I tried this particular flavor at room temperature & heated up in the microwave and for this flavor…I do indeed prefer it heated in the microwave and I drizzled just a tad of melted honey butter on top. While I like this flavor, I definitely preferred the Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins best.
You can find Garden Lites products in various grocery stores nationwide. I typically find them in the “specialty” frozen foods section at my local store.
