Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today is Friday May 5th, 2017. This year is really flying by. It seems like we were just closing out the holiday gift guide a few weeks ago and what?????? It’s May already? Wow! We’ve been busy getting things ready for the summer season. My husband built us a new deck & patio last month and installed a new fire pit in the backyard. We like to entertain during the weekends, so I’m excited to have them finally done and ready to go. We hope everyone has a great weekend!

I have heard other versions of this proverb in different area of the world. It is true no matter where it appears. I too find it hard to believe that it is May, especially given all the cold rainy weather we have been experiencing near me. That just give me the excuse to curl up with your blog rather than a good book!
