5 Unique Ways to Throw Your Kids a Birthday Party

May 27, 2017 by Jenelle

5 Unique Ways to Throw Your Kids a Birthday PartyIt is that time of year again and you need to start planning your child’s birthday bash. This can be a lot of fun but can also induce a great deal of stress. Every parent wants their child to have an exciting birthday party that is enjoyable for the kids as well as the parents that attend as well. In this article we will identify some ideas on how to throw a great birthday party for your child that will be fun, exciting, and not like all the other parties you attend throughout the year.

1. Party location. Include your kids in the planning process by asking your child what kind of party they want to have. By doing so, you will instantly gain buy-in from them and begin to build the excitement. Think about what your child loves to do. For example, if they love to swim or jump at a trampoline park you may want to incorporate those types of activities into the party. Many places have birthday party packages that include food, decorations, and an activity. This can be a great deal of fun and take the stress of having to plan games and clean your house off of your to-do list. While this can be a more expensive way to throw a party, it will certainly be easier and very memorable.

2. Theme. It is also a great idea to ask your child what they would like the party theme to be. If you know that your child is a huge fan of Paw Patrol for example, you may want to ask if they want that to be the theme. If so, you can plan accordingly. Send invitations that go along with the theme and coordinate thank you notes for after the party as well. Purchase balloons, paper products, cutlery, snacks, and treat bags that stick with the theme. Perhaps even dress your child to coordinate with the theme as well.

3. Food. A great way to have a party is to provide food for all attendees. Many times at a child’s birthday party there is food provided for the kids but not for the adults who are also there. If your budget allows for it, provide some pizza or other snack foods for the adults. This type of hospitality will be greatly appreciated.

4. Games. If you have a party at home, you can have the kids participate in games such as the traditional pin the tail on the donkey game or have a pinata that is full of candy. Perhaps even provide crafts or coloring as well. Perth Bouncy Castle Hire is also an option if you live in the Perth area, but you should be able to hire a bouncy castle in your own local area too. Whatever you choose to do, make sure that your child is interested in the activity as you will most likely need your child to help get the other kids to participate if they are all playing together.

5. Pictures. You will certainly want to have photographs of your party so consider hiring a photographer or asking a family member to be the designated photo-taker. Having pictures of your event will be a great momento later on in life and it will help you remember the great birthday party!

I think that a children’s party can be a lot of fun. You should definitely ask a child what he/she would want as a theme. I like a Dollar store to buy party decorations and plates.

I think one of the best places for party decorations and stuff is the dollar store. Big bang for your buck there.

I love planning and attending children’s birthday parties. I also love it when there is a piñata I think that is so much fun and I remember having one at my birthday parties when I was little.
