What would you do if your six-year-old daughter announced she wanted to become a vegetarian? Veronica Bosgraaf went all in to support her daughter’s bold decision, and “took to the kitchen to create clean and nutritionally balanced foods that she would love.” This led Veronica to go on to develop delicious healthful bars and snacks and to found the Pure Organic company to share her products with the rest of us.
For my review, I received a wonderful assortment of Pure Organic products, including Fruit and Nut Bars, Ancient Grains Crispy Bars, Fruit & Veggie Strips, and Fruit Sandwiches. From my first bite of the Wild Blueberry Fruit and Nut Bar, I knew I was in for a real treat. Much to my delight, the blueberry flavor was front and center, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bar had only 190 calories and provided an impressive 6 grams of protein. Likewise, the Vanilla Almond Ancient Grains Crispy Bar tasted great and had a nice crunch, and it clocked in at 160 calories with 5 grams of protein.
I could describe each of their snacks in similar detail, but you can trust me when I tell you that everything I tried was equally delicious. I will add, though, that the Fruit Sandwiches and the Fruit & Veggie Strips are sweet enough to satisfy my worst cravings, and since they’re made with fruit and veggie purees and juices but no added sugars or sweeteners, there’s no guilt involved at all. Yay!
Of course, with the name “Pure Organic,” you’d expect that all of the ingredients that go into these products are, well, pure and organic. They’re actually USDA Certified Organic, and are also Non-GMO Project Verified, certified gluten-free, certified kosher, and vegan. No dairy or soy products are used in any of Pure Organic’s products.
In doing my research prior to writing this review, I visited the Pure Organic website to learn about the company and their products, and I found their website to be a great resource for all sorts of useful and interesting information about clean living, such as ways to reduce your energy bill, discussions of the meaning and importance of organics, ways to use less plastics, and a variety of recipes (the Cherry-Almond Scones are on my must-try list).
The time I spent browsing there was time well spent. I also discovered that Pure Organic posts recipes, promotions, and more on their Facebook page, which is well worth a visit, too.
You can purchase Pure Organic’s products through Amazon or from retailers such as Whole Foods Market, as well as directly from Pure Organic. In fact, they offer a 10% discount if you sign up for the Pure Bar Recurring Delivery program at their website, with free shipping on orders over $39.

These bars look so healthy and delicious. I am always on the lookout for snacks that do not have added sugars or sweeteners so these look like such a good choice.
These bars look really good. Im curious about the fruit and veggie sticks.
These Pure Organic products sound delicious. I would love to have the Wild Blueberry bar. I like how the site talks about ways to reduce your use of plastics, energy and other ways for clean living.
I’m surprised I haven’t run across their bars in one of my food subscription boxes or at the store. I do like their online recipes and pinned a scrumptious looking recipe for Raw Nut, Maple and Cinnamon Cream. I liked their Facebook page since they post healthy and pretty food pics.
