3 Must-Have Hair Products for Spring and Summer

March 17, 2017 by Jenelle

3 Must-Have Hair Products for Spring and SummerSpring is finally here and I’m ready to spend more time outdoors and in the fresh air. Since I’ll be spending more time outside, I need to kick my beauty routine into high gear, so that I’m ready for the spring and summer seasons.

I have very thick, long and super-curly hair. Keeping my tresses looking nice is hard work and a work-in-progress. I’m always looking for new hair care products that help me keep my hair looking beautiful. Here are my 3 Must-Have Hair Care Products for Spring.

Infiniti PRO by Conair Ultimate Root Booster Collection

Infiniti PRO by Conair Ultimate Root Booster Collection

A collection of six root-boosting brushes, each designed with a vented barrel for up to 50% more airflow for ultra-fast drying. The Triangle Airflow Bristle™ design lifts hair right at the roots, creating unparalleled volume, bounce, and body. Available at Target and Ulta.

Right now I’m using the Conair Infiniti Pro Ultimate Root Booster Round Brush and love it. There are days that I like to straighten my hair with a flat iron and curl under the ends. Having a good round brush is essential for accomplishing that. This brush features alternating bristles that lift hair at the roots and the vented barrel design saves me up to 50% in drying time.

Scunci No Damage Hair Elastics

Scunci No Damage Hair Elastics

Slide into any situation without worrying about hair slippage! Our No Damage elastics, the perfect companion to have on you, and with you each day. These soft, metal-free elastics hold ponytails tight while working or playing. Easy to take with you for an instant style change. Available at Target and Walmart.

My 8 year old daughter and I go through a lot of hair ties and Scunci is our preferred brand when it comes to hair elastics. These hair ties have no metal parts, so there is nothing to tangle in your hair or damage your hair. When purchasing them, you can find them in a ton of different colors and fun prints. The package that we received contains 32 pieces in a pretty light purple, steel gray, lime green, seafoam green, khaki, chocolate brown and 2 cute animal prints. During the spring and summer seasons, we use these elastic hair ties a lot to put our hair up into pony tails and/or braids.

PHILIP B. Rejuvenating Oil for Dry Hair

PHILIP B. Rejuvenating Oil

Packed with ultra-light essential oils, this legendary conditioning treatment sinks in instantly to transform even the driest, most frazzled hair, leaving it bouncy and gleaming. Available at Philipb.com.

I admit, this is the first time that I’ve tried a Rejuvenating Oil for my hair and scalp. This oil is formulated for dry to damaged hair and trust me, my hair is dry and damaged! It contains essential and carrier oils of plants, nuts and flowers. I’ve been applying it to my hair and scalp following the package directions for the past 10 days and noticed a huge difference in my hair. The frizzies have dramatically decreased, no static electricity and my hair is 80% more manageable than what it was. HUGE difference. I’m really impressed with this one!

Boy that amazon price for those scuncis is great I just paid a lot more than that a few weeks ago. This brush looks like something I would really get a lot of use out of. I have never tried the rejuvenating oil before but my hair could sure use it especially after all of the cold weather we have been having my hair need some tlc.

I also have very thick and curly hair that can be hard to manage so I am very interested in the root booster round brush. It looks like it will do what I need which is to give fullness and body but still keep it under some control.

Oh, boy. Up until the last few years, I had very thick hair with no problems. But now I have hair that has gotten dry & over the last few months I’ve actually developed a BALD patch on the lower back of my head!! (Due to a health issue.) Honestly, this is all new to me & I’m just trying to find new ways to help my poor hair, lol.

I’d like to try some oils on my scalp but my hair is just so thin, I’m not sure what I’d end up with! I may look like a rat with my few hairs pasted down, lol, but I’ll have to at least give it a try. I want to find a sample bottle first though, before I invest a bunch of money for something that may not work for me.

I bought the Rejuvenating Oil and have to say I love it. My hair was in really bad shape over a period of 6 months I have had a total of 12 inches cut off. Slowly but surely my hair is looking better
