It’s the time of year where I’m feeling a bit pale, a little drab because of the cold, rainy weather and need a bit of a pick me up. Things that do the trick for me are usually coffee (lot of it) and make up, preferably lipstick! Imagine the smile on my face when a lovely box of colorful goodies arrived from Starlooks. This was just the package of prettiness that I needed!
Starlooks is a company that began in 2008 and offers a wide variety of professional quality, HD cosmetics. One of their signature items is their PerfectSize® items, which are conveniently-sized versions lip glosses, lip crayons and eye shadows to name a few. They aren’t trial size or samples, but are a bit bigger, which I think are an ideal size for travel or for the girl on the go. Think about how many large-size make up products you’ve probably tossed in the past. This is a great way to create less waste in the world. If the smaller size isn’t your thing, Starlooks also has full size products for eyes, lips and face.
Starlooks has an amazing line of products and today I’m going to focus in on the lip products. Get ready to pucker up and get glam!
Velveteen Lip Crayons – these beautiful velveteen-matte lip shades are perfect for any skin tone or any mood. You simply apply these directly to the lip (or you can use a lip brush to apply) or you can use it as a pencil to shade and mix with other colors for fun two-toned looks! They go on smooth and look fantastic. I like to add a little gloss on top for a shimmery, evening look. They are available in a variety of colors including those shown to the right –Keen, Majesty, Blue Blood, Mauvetopia and Opulence.
Ultra Long-Wear Matte Lip Paints – these full-size super kissable shades will give you a pop of color all day long and it won’t wear off. The colors are bold and are a perfect cure for the winter blues. The lip paints come in the following shades—Doll, Royalty, Nudist and Piquant.
Lip Gloss – this is truly the perfect little gloss. They come in a non-stick formula in the PerfectSize container so you can tote them with you in your pocket or even in the tiniest of purses when you are headed out on the town. I adore the shiny finish these glosses give, but I also love that they have an “exotic vanilla” scent. They smell great and look gorgeous, especially over the Lip Crayons. The colors pictured here are Ideal, Just Say Yes, Mad Crush and Let’s Makeout.
Ultra-Matte Lipstick – this is a velvet matte formula that is a must for the woman who wants to stand out and be noticed. The color shown on the right is RAWR and the color on the left (far side) is Master. Both are vibrant, beautiful colors and come in the PerfectSize.
Lipstix– this is a deeply pigmented, creamy, longwear lip color in a flirty coral pink (Dragon Fruit). While it looks like a lip liner, it’s meant to be used as a lipstick.
Lip Pencils – these pencils are made with a smooth and creamy longwear formula and packaged in the PerfectSize, which makes this an essential beauty bag item. It comes in two colors—Peony and Rose. Both colors blend nicely with the other Starlooks products.
Cream Blush – perfect your look with Starlooks Cream Blush in Abstract. This warm, neutral peach color looks great on many different skin tones and is compact and convenient for busy babes.

This is the first time I have heard of Starlooks. I like that their subscription boxes start as low as $12. I find it very difficult to choose among all the wonderful lip products they offer.
(Treat Yourself to On-Trend Looks from Starlooks) They have more of some of the colors that I would like wearing on occasion.
Their PerfectSize Starbox for $12 a month is a good deal. I don’t use makeup enough to justify the full-size products so this subscription would be ideal for me. I followed them on Facebook and twitter to check out more of their products.
Starlooks Subscription Boxes are something my Daughters would love. It is always nice to beable to try different shades of makeup.I Myself now mainly into lips.
