Disclosure: Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with free copies of the DVD I am giving away in this feature post.
How many of you have children that enjoy watching Sesame Street on PBS? I grew up watching Sesame Street and my favorite character was Big Bird. Now that I have children, both of my kids are growing up as Sesame Street fans too!
Following the success of Sesame Street: Singing with the Stars, it’s time to jam along with your favorite Sesame Street friends again as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment & Sesame Workshop release Sesame Street: Singing with the Stars 2 onto DVD.
On this children’s DVD you’ll find music artists: Gwen Stefani, Macklemore, Aloe Blacc, Janelle Monae, Michael Buble, Fifth Harmony and more! With this DVD your kids can learn all about math, science and self-confidence.
Micheal Buble helps Elmo to “Believe in Yourself” while Gwen Stefani explains how to “Be a Good Friend.” Oscar is joined by Macklemore to sing about his love of trash, and there’s music everywhere when Fifth Harmony stops by.
Jessica Mauboy has kids hopping with “Five Kangaroos”, OK GO paints a picture of the “Three Primary Colors” in amazing stop motion, and Elmo rocks out with Rev Run while learning to “Hop This Way.”
DVD Bonus Features: Full Episode: “All For A Song” and Animation: “Abby’s Flying Fairy School: Face the Music.”
The entire DVD is done in English with a total run time of 64 minutes in length.
As a mother, I appreciate that there is quality children’s TV programming out there, especially on PBS. Both of my children watch many of the TV shows that are on PBS. It’s television programming that I’m proud to let my children watch. It’s entertaining, fun and educational.
The Sesame Street: Singing with the Stars 2 DVD is a real winner in my book! My children love to watch it and I catch both of them up singing and dancing when I have it on. While my daughter loves watching Elmo, my son enjoys Oscar the Grouch. I have to admit…Oscar is fun to watch!
With Easter quickly approaching, I think this Sesame Street children’s DVD would make a great Easter Basket filler.
