Let me introduce you to the newest product to hit the retail marketplace from Trudeau. It’s their new Cake Mold pan that is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I’ve tried using silicone bakeware before, but have always been displeased on how they collapse and perform. Not any more!
This new Cake Mold pan from Trudeau is made out of European Grade Silicone with an integrated steel structure underneath the silicone. This structure keeps the Cake Mold pan from collapsing and keeps it very stable which I love!

When you look at this Cake Mold pan it looks like a high-end metal baking pan…until you touch it! Once you touch it, you realize it’s silicone with an embedded steel structure underneath it. One of the things I love about it is that it’s super light-weight! Plus, if I would accidentally drop it onto the floor, it won’t break.
I decided to bake a cake in my new Cake Mold pan and I was really impressed with it’s performance. My cake was evenly baked and it popped right out of the Cake Mold. Another benefit with this particular baking pan is the easy, peasy clean-up! Nothing stuck inside which made clean-up a breeze. Gotta love that!
Not a cake fan? Don’t worry! I made a cherry cobbler and a blueberry crisp in this same pan during the past two weeks and had fantastic results too! Great for making all kinds of homemade desserts and treats!

My daughter loves to bake. Trudeau pans would make a great gift for her.
I love the idea of having the metal inside. It makes it more sturdy and I would love to try it. It is great not to have to worry about the batter sticking to the pan.
I have these Trudeau round cake pans, square cake pans and muffins tins and they are wonderful. I especially love them for muffins and cupcakes. Just a breeze to get out and look and taste great. I have not used the cake pans often just because I don’t bake cakes that much but when I do they come out beautifully.

I’m impressed! I had a silicone Bundt-type pan but the cakes never browned and were less than appealing. Your cake, however, looks fabulous! Seems like Trudeau has figured out the key to making silicone bakeware that really works.
I have a few pieces of silicone but honestly have never tried it. Why? I have nightmares of it bubbling and melting. This cake pan, I would give a try because it has the metall element to it. The total silicone seems just too floppy and not so stable. Beautiful cake.
