2 Quick and Easy Jewelry Craft Projects for Little Girls

Easy Seashell Necklace Craft ProjectAll little girls love jewelry and if you have a little diva in your family, I think she would love to sit down and craft-up her own jewelry pieces! Both of these jewelry craft projects are easy to make and they work up quickly. On top of that, they’re inexpensive too!

2 Quick and Easy Jewelry Craft Projects for Little Girls

Easy Seashell Necklace Craft Project

1 Scallop Seashell 1 1/2″ Size
Faux Leather Cord

The faux leather cord that we used had a clasp already on it. We bought it in the jewelry-supplies section at the craft store for $1.00. The seashell that we used had a pre-drilled hole. If your seashell doesn’t have a pre-drilled hole, you’ll need to add on. Simply thread the scallop seashell onto the faux leather cord. You can let your little girl add glitter, colored paints or colorful markers if she wants to decorate her necklace even more.

Olympic Rings Necklace Craft Project

Olympic Rings Necklace Craft Project

1 Gold Glitter Stiff Felt Sheet
Scissors
Faux Leather Necklace Cord or Yarn/Ribbon
Craft Foam Sheets in Black, Blue, Red, Yellow and Green
All-Purpose Craft Glue
Pencil
1/4″ Hole Puncher

Cut a 3″ diameter circle from the gold glitter felt sheet. This type of felt is stiff and will hold it’s shape. Use a pencil and trace 1/2″ diameter circle onto black, blue, red, yellow and green craft foam. Use scissors to cut out those small circles. Use a 1/4″ hole puncher to punch a hole in the center of each circle to turn it into an Olympic ring. Use the hold puncher to punch a hole in the top of the large gold metallic circle. Apply the Olympic ring circles onto the gold metallic circle (as shown in the photo) using all-purpose craft glue. Thread your pendant onto a faux leather cord, ribbon or yarn to make the necklace.

If your little girl isn’t interested in sports, she can decorate her gold metallic circle pendant with stickers, faux jewels, metal charms, buttons and other items you have in your craft supplies stash.

Fun! I love the shell idea. We go down to Sanibel to visit family and there are beautiful shells. It would be fun to do this with my granddaughter.

I really like the seashell necklace. That’s a cute one (even for a ‘big girl.’) I might like wearing that!

I saw this on Facebook and had to hop over and see how it’s made. I’ve never worked with craft foam or glitter felt before but they look like lightweight, easy materials. I have lots of leather cording, all colors, so these projects are right up my alley.

This is really a cute Craft for little girls. My Emmah would love to make a Pendant like this one. ( So Pretty) She is not really into sports yet, so she would probably go with the Rhinestones and little buttons on hers. Thank You for Sharing.
