As you all know, my husband and I do a lot of traveling, both for business and for pleasure. Just like all of you, we have a lot of tech devices that need to be charged up when we are traveling. Things like our video camera, digital camera, iPod, iPad, tablets, cellphones, etc.
Some of the hotels & resorts that we visit do have in-room USB chargers, but frankly…most do not. In addition, most of the time when we do find them, there is one or two USB ports, not three!

We have also had a problem at hotels when we want to charge cell phones plus laptops and an IPad. This would make it so much more convenient than trying to do it all on the port provided by the hotel. Very handy to have a 3 port one.
Exactly! We were just on a 5 day trip and each hotel we stayed in had ONLY one USB charging port in our room. The trip before that, the hotel didn’t even have one! I love this charging port so much that I ordered two more, so that I can have one at home, one for hubby’s office and one in our travel bag. I can now charge up 3 devices at one time by using a wall outlet and not drain power from a laptop while on the road or while at home. Plus, I’ve found that our devices charge up much quicker by using the wall charger than trying to charge them up via a laptop or a single port at a hotel. Just my thoughts & opinion on that!
I can see where this would be very helpful when you are traveling. I like the surge protection it offers.
This wall charger is a very compact and useful device. I love how it can charge 3 items at once and has surge protection too.
