We spend a lot of time outdoors. We enjoy going camping, hiking, rock climbing and just playing outside. On top of that, we have a small vacation home at the beach, that often gets hit by tropical storms and hurricanes. Flooding and storm damage over the past 8-10 years has been pretty terrible on the eastern seaboard.
One of the things we appreciate about this particular flashlight is it’s size. It’s approximately 6″ in length and very light-weight. This Dorcy company really seems to have a flashlight for every occasion. I love that it is waterproof, floats and has an end through which you can string something to attach it.
I like the end of this flashlight so you can attach something to hold onto, in case you drop it. Both my folks are having issues with grasping things and it’s making me think about products that work better. Easy switches and really user friendly material on the outside helps with these flashlights. My neon green Dorcy flashlight is really easy to find in my clutter too! Love this brand.
I really like this company. I think there is a flashlight for everything. We have this flashlight, and it is rugged and although I havent submerged it, I have no doubt that it holds up. One of the cool things about this company too is they send the right batteries along with the lights!
For those who’ve dropped a flashlight & watched it sink out of sight in the water, this is a great thing! I love this idea.
