Let’s face it…little girls love to play with dolls, all kinds of different dolls. These type of toys can really help a young girl to explore her maternal instincts, help to enrich her mind and they can get really creative with their dolls when it comes to playtime.
Let me introduce you to one of the HOTTEST dolls this year along with their very educational animated programming…called SpacePop. I had never heard of them until this review and I’m super excited to tell you more about them today.
SpacePOP is an animated entertainment series focusing on girl empowerment, friendship and adventure. The show includes five teenage princesses who disguise themselves as musicians and form a band while they secretly plot to a rebellion against the evil Empress Geela. You can watch this story and the short animated series by following the SpacePop YouTube channel.
Serialized episodes, each about 3 minutes long and featuring a 90-second music video, are release twice per week. New episodes are getting an amazing 250K and 300K new views. You can watch past episodes over on YouTube, subscribe to the channel so that you and your little girl can stay up-to-date on newly released episodes.
We received a complimentary package of SpacePOP items:
– SpacePOP Fashion Doll from Madame Alexander: Fans can now play and collect the ultimate galactic glam squad! Available in each of the 5 princess characters, each dolls has combinable hair, removable clothing, accessories and more!
– SpacePOP Sketch Portfolio from Canal Toys: With 30 drawing pages, 3 stencil pages, markers and stickers, the imaginations of future designers will run wild!
– SpacePOP: Not Your Average Princesses CD: An album jam packed with 13 original hit songs from the YouTube series.
All of these super fun toys would make a great gift for any little girl and they’re available for purchase at ToysRUs and ToysRUs.com.
Once we received the above items…we headed on over to the SpacePop Girls website and then over to their YouTube channel. My 7 1/2 year old granddaughter has been hooked on them ever since! She comes over to my home at least twice a week and every time she’s here, I give her 45 minutes to spend on their website and/or YouTube channel. She loves watching their music videos (and sing’s along to them) and watching their webisodes. She’s totally hooked on these fun-loving and spunky girls!
Even though the holidays are over, you can get your little Princess started with the SpacePop Girls now (online) and don’t forget to pick up some of their fun toys! I’m sure you’ll need a few Valentine’s Day, Easter, Birthday and Just-Because gifts throughout the year.

I will have to find out if my 7 year old granddaughter has seen them yet. It looks like something that she would definitely like especially with the idea of the music and the girls forming a band. Sounds like it has a good message.
This sounds like a great site. I love the idea of letting little girls know that they can do anything , go on adventures and be different people. It is sure to empower them.
I saw these dolls on another blog recently and pinned a few I thought were especially nice. I found them on Madame Alexander’s site as well and the blue haired doll is my fave. I’d love to make a Halloween costume based on her! They look like fun and we can always use more girl empowerment!
