I enjoy adult coloring books, but sometimes I’m looking for something a little different to keep my interest & creative juices flowing. The book that I’m featuring for you today is just that…something a little bit different!
Title: Welcome to the Colorverse
Illustrated By: Chris Bianchi
Publisher: Adams Media
ISBN: 9781440598289
This adult coloring book is a hidden-picture quest through outrageously awesome worlds. The book features intricate, imaginative coloring pages that contain a hidden item, it’s hidden pictures meets the coloring craze! Inside you’ll find extreme snowboard scenes, pop art-inspired sushi, tropical Hawaiian luaus, and more!
Each scene in Welcome to the Colorverse is a tad bit…off. Kites fly themselves, animals take on human form, and ice cream cones grow from the ground. Readers will journey from the desert to the sky, a safari to the candy shop, and the forest to an aquarium, bringing color to the intricately designed landscapes filled with odd characters and strange happenings. Every new setting has its own unique task to complete as readers search each wacky scene, creating awesome art in the process.
As I previously stated, I love adult coloring books and have been enjoying this relaxing & creative hobby for the past 2 years. I love to sit down and color, but sometimes I need something just a little different to keep my interest. One of the things I love about this adult coloring book is it’s wacky scenes…gives you something totally unexpected to see.
Next, each page has hidden items on it which you need to find and color. Don’t worry, each page tells you what item you’re looking for and how many of them you need to find. Very cool to combine adult coloring with a hidden picture & search book…all in one!
