Movie Review: Navy Seals vs. Zombies
My husband and I are HUGE movie fans and have amassed quite the collection of movie DVDs into the thousands, yes…I bet ya we own at least 4,000 movie DVDs! We house them all in a storage room in our basement and they are all beautifully organized by genre and title.
My favorite movie genre is action/military and I’m also into zombie flicks. I was over on Amazon a few weeks ago and purchased myself a movie DVD titled: Navy Seals vs. Zombies. Notice what I said, I personally PURCHASED this DVD. It was NOT a review item.
The movie features actor’s Rick Fox, Ed Quinn, Michael Dudikoff (he is in one of my favorite old movies called Soldier Boys) and Molly Hagan. The film is directed by Stanton Barrett and runs approximately 97 minutes in length.
Movie Synopsis: A team of Navy Seals are dispatched to go into the city of Baton Rouge to rescue the Vice President (Rick Fox) after the city has been taken over by hordes of zombies. Not only is their mission to rescue the Vice President, but they have to get themselves out of the city alive.
Within the first 30 minutes of the movie you’ll learn the fate of the V.P. and the Navy Seals get reassigned to a new mission to rescue a scientist located on the other side of the city. They have fight hordes of zombies to get there and some of them make it and some…well, not so much. Other than that, I’m not going to spoil how the movie ends, so you’ll have to watch it yourself to see how it all plays out.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story line because it’s different than other zombie movies that are out there. Next, I really LOVED the action scenes since I’m into action & military flicks. The acting was pretty good by most of the actors and it held my attention from start to finish. Matter of fact, I’ve watched it several times since I’ve purchased it and I’m super happy to have it in my video collection. On my entertainment rating scale, I’m giving it 7 1/2 stars out of 10 stars.
The movie DVD is available for purchase on Amazon, at retailers across the nation and on Video on Demand.
