How many of you enjoy eating at Sonic Drive-In? We have a Sonic about 10 minutes from our home and we’re pretty fortunate that when we travel, we can usually find a Sonic Drive-In nearby. Sonic is great when you want something refreshing to drink or a quick bite to eat.
Recently my husband and I took a weekend getaway and when we arrived home we found out that our electricity was out. Like most travelers, we were starving when we walked through the door. To solve that problem, we dropped our luggage in the living room and headed to our local Sonic Drive-In to pick up a quick dinner to take home.
We were asked to try out the new LIL’ GRILLERS from the Sonic menu with a gift card that we had received for this feature. LIL’ GRILLERS are a delicious spin on one of America’s favorite sandwiches ~ The Grilled Cheese.
With our complimentary gift card, we picked up all five of the new LIL” GRILLERS flavors:

Bacon, Egg & Cheese Lil’ Breakfast Griller
Sausage, Egg & Cheese Lil’ Breakfast Griller
Our local Sonic Drive-In offered all 5 of the new Lil’ Grillers in a variety pack, so that’s what we ordered.
Once we arrived home, I selected the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Lil’ Breakfast Griller and the Lil’ Patty Griller to eat for my dinner. Hubby selected the Lil’ Chicken Griller and the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Lil’ Griller. When our little granddaughter arrived at the house, she got the Lil’ Cheese Griller.
I have to admit, I love various grilled cheese sandwiches, so I already knew that I would love the Lil’ Grillers! These sandwiches are cheesy good! The cheese was hot, smooth, flavorful and creamy. The sandwiches were toasted to perfection!
All three of us loved the Lil’ Grillers! My favorite was the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Lil’ Breakfast Griller. I think it would be delicious any time of the day!!! Hubby downed his Lil’ Chicken Griller in rapid fashion and actually commented that he could eat a second. Seriously, they are that GOOD!

We only recently got our first Sonic in the area, and the lines were insane when they first opened! I have only visited once (the buy one, get one boneless Buffalo wing offer roped me in), but wow, this looks delicious! Lines or not, I think I may have to make a visit to try this!
They are super good, especially the breakfast varieties! My husband loves the one with chicken and the one with a small hamburger pattie too. What makes them so good is the type of creamy & smooth cheese that they use and I love the toasted bread too.
I have never been to a Sonic . I don’t know if there is a location near my new home. The Lil’ Grillers sound delicious and if I can find a nearby SOnic I would try them.
I loved Sonic as a kid (& still do.) I’m diabetic & have to watch the carbs, so I can’t hit those bacon cheeseburgers as often, lol, but I still love them.
We loved Sonic and had one here in town. We would go there and have the chili dogs, they were delicious. We also loved their malts (hubby’s favorite) I keep seeing the commercials for the little grillers and they look so good!
I haven’t been to a Sonic in a long time. I like the limeades the best. Might have to try these.
