I’m going to admit to all of you up front, in our honest opinion, Dorcy makes the BEST flashlights and camping lanterns out in the retail marketplace. We use them all of the time in both of our homes, when we go out camping and my husband & his crew use them all of the time at work.

Let me introduce you today to the Dorcy Pro Series Z-Drive 450 Lumens Flashlight. This is a slender-style flashlight that fits really comfortably in your hand and has a built-in battery life indicator. It’s always nice to see “instantly” how much battery life is left before you need to recharge your batteries. Very cool.

Dorcy Pro Series Z-Drive 450 Lumens Flashlight

Dorcy’s patented Z-drive provides more light with more hours of run time than any other comparable flashlight. The Z-Drive makes use of a sophisticated Pulse Width Modulation driver circuit which is totally new. With Z-Drive your light will stay brighter longer with fewer battery changes than ever before.

One of the things Sam loves about this flashlight is that it’s made out of machined aircraft aluminum. Due to his job, he’s very hard on flashlights and uses them multiple times every day. He’s always dropping them, so he loves high-quality flashlights that are made out of metal. They can really handle the wear & tear he puts them through, plus…with it being made out of aircraft aluminum…it helps to keep them light-weight and not overly-weighty.

Next, it has a little built-in metal clip. Hubby can clip it right into his uniform shirt pocket and always have it within his reach. Another thing that he likes about this flashlight is it’s ease-of-use. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist or read a manufacturer’s operation manual to learn to use it. It’s small on size, but mighty powerful on it’s light! Perfect for a man (or woman) who works in a trade field like my husband.

    Oh, I also like the 700 Lumen Rechargeable USB Lantern. We need a big flashlight like that around the house. Our old one went belly up a while back.
