White Sands ER Fusion for Repairing Dry, Brittle Hair

December 26, 2016 by Kristine

White Sands ER Fusion for Repairing Dry, Brittle HairIt’s that time of the year where the weather is cooler (in some cases quite a bit cooler—even here in Southern California, I’m bundled up with scarves and gloves). Something we don’t often realize is that with the cooler weather, our hair can become dry, frizzy, brittle and downright unruly. I was recently sent a product that helps alleviate the winter hair blues—White Sands Haircare’s emergency reconstructive treatment, ER Fusion.

White Sands is a company with a passion for producing unique products catering to each individual’s artistic needs. This professional hair care company is committed to distributing the best performing and innovative hair care products in the world. All of the company’s styling, cleansing, and treatment products define quality, style and performance.

ER Fusion is another of White Sands quality products. When Jack Frost is nipping and your nose (and your locks), this deep conditioner comes to the rescue with a dose of TLC that helps prevent and heal dryness and breakage, while intensely softening all hair types. It is a heat-activated treatment that deeply replenishes hair from the inside out with results lasting up to 30 days after each use. The ER Fusion contains a complex set of amino cystines, the smallest proteins available with strengthening properties, that repairs damaged hair by absorbing directly into the inside of each strand.

ER Fusion contains nature’s most sophisticated moisturizers and is full of powerful and unique ingredients that create a clear micro-shield to seal in hair color and deliver moisture from the inside out to eliminate frizz. Lemon grass is a key ingredient that further enhances color with a high-gloss. You will notice that your hair has a weightless feel, increased flexibility, softness, shine and volume. I definitely noticed a difference. My hair feels bouncier, stronger and I haven’t noticed as many broken hair strands in the sink.

It’s important to note that you need to use this product differently than you would typical conditioner. This is an intensive reconstructor, so it’s important to follow the directions to get the best results possible. Follow these steps:

• Shampoo hair as you normally would
• Comb ER Fusion through clean, damp hair
• Apply heat with your blow dryer for 20 minutes
• Rinse

While this process can take a bit longer, it is definitely worth it. For me, it’s a weekend kind of treatment, when I have a little extra time for “me.”

My daughter would love this. She has very long hair and loves to use masks every month or so. She would probably want to use this product before special occasions.

This sounds like such a good product that would be easy to use and would be effective. I blow dry my hair so this would make it convenient. My hair tends to be dry and brittle year round so I am always looking for ways to improve its texture.

Although the process is longer than what I usually do it sounds like it is worth the time and effort. I like that a main ingredient is lemongrass.

It’s been so cold and rainy here lately. I can’t wait until it starts warming up later this week. My hair hasn’t been too dry with the cold. I just wash it less. I never use a blow dryer on it since it’s so thin and dries fast. Twenty minutes under a blow dryer for this heat treatment seems like a lot.
