Keep Kid’s Warm with Hats from Pebble by Kahiniwalla

December 17, 2016 by Shelly

Keep Kid’s Warm with Hats from Pebble by KahiniwallaWinter is just around the corner and already here in the northeast, the temperatures are dropping and the chill is in the air. It’s important that when our children go outside, that we dress them appropriately to help keep them warm. One of the best ways to ensure that they stay warm this season is by having our kids wear hats. But…let’s face it…the majority of hats aren’t very attractive, until now.

Let me introduce you to Pebble by Kahiniwalla who has adorable handcrafted knit hats for children! Here’s some information about the company.

Kid's Hats from Pebble by Kahiniwalla

Kahiniwalla is a business which distributes Fair Trade products and tells the story behind those products. They care about the quality of their products, how they’re made with the bigger picture in mind. Pebble is one of these products designed by Samantha Morshed, a social entrepreneur based in Bangladesh. Samantha’s vision for Pebble of providing a place close to rural homes in Dhaka where women could work flexible hours was just what over 12,000 rural women were looking for. These rural workplaces provide a welcome alternative to women moving to a large city to work in the garment industry leaving their families behind and making themselves vulnerable to unsafe, unjust and sometimes violent situations.

Hats in the Pebble by Kahiniwalla Collection Include the Following Designs: Peace, Monster, Owl, Frog, Stripey, Red Monkey and Organic Hats. These hats also come in various different colors.

We received a complimentary Monster Hat to review for you and as soon as I saw it, I immediately fell in-love with it. It’s absolutely PERFECT for my 15 month old grandson. We live in the northeast and it can get blistering cold outside on the drop of a dime! During the winter season, I always make sure my grandchildren are well-stocked up on hats, scarves and mittens.

The hat is beautiful knitted in soft cotton yarns. When needed you can hand wash or machine wash (delicate cycle) and I do recommend that you hang to air dry. One of the things I love about the hat is that it’s NOT thick & bulky like traditional knit hats…it’s a medium-weight hat and it will definitely keep your child’s head warm. The design features a one-eyed monster, but done in a cute & fun way. There’s nothing scary about it at all. I think it’s adorable!

You can learn more about Pebble by Kahiniwalla by visiting their online store. In addition to the hats, you’ll also find beautiful handmade toys, gifts and accessories.

Cute hats for little kids can be difficult to find. These hats are adorable and since they keep heads warm they would be perfect for my grandsons.

We have had quite a cold spell here in the Northwest and one of these hats would be perfect for my grandson. They are so cute and adorable that I would love to see him wear one plus it would keep him so warm and cozy.
