Since it’s inception, Sydney Paige has been on a mission to raise community awareness about the millions of children who do not have access to proper school supplies. Now, Sydney Paige is partnering up with Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization committed to providing military families with financial assistance, to achieve the same goal: provide students with the necessary tools to succeed in school and life.
Through their partnership with Operation Homefront, Sydney Paige hopes to get 30,000 backpacks and school supplies to low-income military children by May 2017. They hope to attain this goal through three donation methods. The first is their Buy One/Give One model, where customers can select Operation Homefront as the non-profit organization to receive their matching bag when they purchase online. The second is a Donate Only option where supporters can donate a bag directly to Operation Homefront online. The third method is through sponsorships, where bags are sold in bulk at cost and businesses/groups/individuals can even pack the bags themselves for additional engagement in the giving process.
From toddlers to adults, Sydney Paige offers backpacks for everyone and anyone who wants to make a positive impact in a child’s life. Their backpacks are available by size (12” to 18”) and categorized as Little Learners, Young Explorers, World Changers and Difference Makers.
We received a complimentary backpack so that we could share this important information with all of you and give you our personal thoughts on the quality of the item that we received. Let’s get started.
The Difference Makers – Guidi Laptop Rucksack in the Army Green color is not only adorable, it’s very practical. It can be used by guys and gals, and features heavy-duty zippers and leather trim. It can be used for school, for travel, to the gym or take it to the business office. Heck, I can see Dad’s using it for a diaper bag for the little ones.
It’s made out of high-quality, medium-weight canvas which I love. This means that its easy to clean and doesn’t weigh a ton. It features one large main compartment with drawstring & magnetic closure. On the front you’ll fine a nice sized accessory compartment with two smaller accessory compartments on the sides. The straps are adjustable and padded for comfort. If you haul around a laptop or tablet, you’ll find a padded & fleece-lined laptop sleeve inside.
My husband has been wanting a backpack for when we travel. We do a LOT of traveling and are always hauling our laptops, tablets, cellphones, business files, etc. along with us. Since it’s a backpack, it frees up his hands, so that he can wheel around his luggage and carry-on bag. This backpack is PERFECT for him! It’s manly-looking with no frilly-looking girly-designs, it’s heavy-duty, has great organizing features and it’s quality-made. Finally, with every backpack that’s purchase…one is donated and you have to feel good about that!

THis looks like the perfect backpack for your husband. It is alway nice that when you buy something something is donated to someone too. I also like that they make the backpacks in various sizes and styles to suit everyone.
This does look like a very useful and functional backpack for travelling. It could be used for travelling or hiking and I am sure many other situations. Wonderful program giving backpacks to low income military families. Always nice to see companies giving back.
I think these backpacks are perfect for guys and much better than those satchels I’ve seen guys wear. Sorry guys, but those still look too much like purses to me, no matter what manly thing they call them! The green backpack pictured is what I’d choose for a guy’s gift. I myself, like and wear lots of Army Green.
