Everything that I’ve reviewed and the several items that I have purchased have been beautiful and extremely well-made. I’ve been pleased 100% of the time which is really hard to say about most companies.

Novica works in association with the National Geographic to bring consumers handmade works of art from all around the world. You can shop for gorgeous pieces of jewelry, home decor items, fashion & clothing items, outdoor products, furniture, artwork and all sorts of things! I love that each item lists the artist who made it and a little bit about them.

For this holiday gift guide feature I selected the Hand Made Wood Folding Table Fish Shape from Indonesia to review for you. If you’ve been reading this blog over the past 7 years, you’ll already know that I decorate my home in a coastal and beach style and this little table is adorable.

The table is hand carved and painted by Indonesian artist Putu Suserini, and folds flat for storage. When you think of “table”…this is much smaller than a traditional American patio table or accent table. It measures 12.5″ H x 15.75″ W x 12.25” D overall, so it’s more like a child-sized table or accent table. It’s made out of albesia wood and done in a fish shape. I love the tropical paint colors too!

We live in a part of the country where we get snow & ice, so in late Fall I pack up all of my outdoor things & put them into storage until spring. One of the things I love about this little table is that it folds flat for storage and it’s light-weight. So, you can really tote it all around your yard, porch or patio. You can use it indoors too!

Luckily, I still had one of my chairs out on our covered patio, so I was able to take a nice photo of this little table set-up beside one of my outdoor chairs. As you can see, it looks fabulous sitting beside that beach chair! While it’s on the smaller side for a patio table, it’s still big enough to hold a pitcher of lemonade, two to four beverage cups or sit an outdoor flower arrangement on top. Adorable!
