My Thoughts: I love to bake…seriously, I absolutely LOVE to bake! I take great pride in getting into my kitchen several times a week to whip up some type of tasty treat for my family. In the past, I’ve made cakes, but not often due to time constraints. While I love to bake, I need recipes that are quick and easy to prepare. Typically, cakes are time consuming but with Dump Cakes, well, that’s a whole new ballgame!

I love how every recipe is in an appropriate chapter and includes a photograph, ingredients list, instructions and tips along the way. One of the BEST things I love about this book is that it has taught me how to make my own homemade cake mixes! I too love to bake and i love it when cookbooks explain everything clearly and have a large variety of recipes. This book shall be mentioned to my family as a gift for me.
I love to bake also but it is sometimes hard to find the time although lately my granddaughter has often asked to help me. The recipe list of cakes looks so good and it would be a fun activity to do with her. Maybe she will be making me some cakes in the near future.
I’ve always been curious about dump cakes, but I usually bake from scratch and don’t use mixes very often, so I’ve never tried a dump cake. This book could change all that!
