For this review my husband received the 150 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight from Dorcy which is the perfect holiday gift for people who enjoy boating, fishing, jet skiing or any other type of sport that is in or near the water.

There are times that my husband has to work near or in a little bit of water with his job and having a flashlight that is waterproof is essential for that. Just last week he had an entire commercial hot water heater that went down in a building and left over 4″ of standing water on the floor. It took 3 employees to remove the old hot water heat and install a new one which took them 6 1/2 hours to do. He used this particular flashlight on that job and couldn’t be happier with it’s performance.

He wasn’t planning on testing out the waterproof feature on purpose, but he did accidentally drop the flashlight into the water and guess what? He can honestly attest to the fact that it floats and it kept on working perfectly throughout the job!

Another great use for this particular flashlight is to have one or a few of them packed into your emergency prepper kits! We get hit with hurricanes, tropical storms, ice storms and blizzards here, so we will be adding one of these to our emergency kit. It’s light-weight, compact in size and waterproof. Yup, perfect for your emergency kits for sure!

    I like the 750 LUMEN SPOTLIGHT. My backyard is kind of woodsy and a good light would help when I have to go out there at night.
