Backpacks for the Entire Family from Beckmann

December 8, 2016 by Shelly

School Backpacks for Kids from BeckmannFinding the perfect gift for each member in your family can be stressful, but at Beckmann- Norway’s oldest and most trusted brand of school bags it’s easy. At Beckmann’s you’ll find a premium collection of backpacks, that are stylish, spacious and comfortable, with a wide variety of colors, styles, and sizes to choose from.

For decades Beckmann of Norway has believed that school bags should be resilient and safe. Designed and manufactured to a high standard, every single bag from Beckman undergoes strict safety control and thorough testing before it lands on you or your child’s back.

Beckmann Urban Mini Backpack

Why Choose Beckmann:

– Designs high-quality backpacks based on the age of your children.
– The straps and back have good padding that provides relief and assists in good posture maintenance.
– The built-in flashing LED light and highly reflective piping keeps your child visible on the road.
– The highly reflective built-in rain fly cover keeps your child visible and the bag dry in harsh weather conditions and also protects it from the sun rays fading the bag itself.
– Designed to keep the weight away from spine and shoulders.
– 2-year warranty.

For this holiday gift guide feature I received the Beckmann Urban Mini Backpack to check out for all of you. I love that it’s a solid navy blue, which won’t show dirty as easily and it features leather trim.

Beckmann Urban Mini Backpack

This backpack is perfectly sized for young children and my 7 1/2 year old granddaughter will be using it for school once the holiday is over.  It features solid padding on the back and on the shoulder straps, which is really nice because backpack straps tend to dig-into the shoulders of our children. Let’s face it, these days the schools have our children carrying way too much stuff back and forth.

There is an external pocket where your child can carry a water bottle or put in their smaller items that they need to get to quickly. Now that it gets darker earlier in the day (here on the east coast), I appreciate that there is reflective material on the shoulder straps. That’s a nice feature that you don’t find on most backpacks.

On the back of the bag you’ll find a little ID window with ID tag that you can write your child’s name, room number and/or bus number. The shoulder straps are totally adjustable and when it’s on your child’s back, it evenly distributes the weight. If your child’s backpack is sagging halfway down their back, it has too much stuff in it and what’s in it is NOT being evenly distributed in regards to weight.

Finally, in the bottom of the backpack is a zippered compartment and inside that compart you’ll find a rain bag. If it happens to be raining, your child can place their bag into the rain bag to help protect it and the belongings inside. How cool is that? Totally cool.

This is a perfect backpack for a 7 year old. I know my granddaughter who is the same age no longer wants the “princess” etc. ones because they are too babyish so this looks like a really good one because it has everything but yet looks stylish.
