Instead of our weekly Week-in-Review post, today we are going to honor our Veterans and remember them on Veteran’s Days. This includes all past and present veterans, WE HONOR YOU, THANK YOU and APPRECIATE YOUR SERVICE! Remember everyone, Freedom is Never Free! Please take the time today to thank a service member, help a veteran in some way and to remember those who we have lost along the way.
Here are a few of my favorite quotes for Veteran’s Day.
In war, there are no unwounded soldiers. – José Narosky
The veterans of our military services have put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms that we enjoy. They have dedicated their lives to their country and deserve to be recognized for their commitment. – Judd Gregg
This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave. – Elmer Davis
While only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our veterans, Americans must never forget the sacrifices that many of our fellow countrymen have made to defend our country and protect our freedoms. – Randy Neugebauer
Valor is stability, not of legs and arms, but of courage and the soul. – Michel de Montaigne
Honoring the sacrifices many have made for our country in the name of freedom and democracy is the very foundation of Veterans Day. – Charles B. Rangel
America’s Veterans have served their country with the belief that democracy and freedom are ideals to be upheld around the world. – John Doolittle

I love all the quotes you chose to honor our veterans. I know that we need to both honor and help the veterans who fought so bravely for our country and not neglect their needs after they return home.
I love all of these quotes thank you so much for sharing these. Veterans Day is a very important day in our house and we honor the Veterans in our family and throughout the County.
These are great quotes & reminders of the cost of freedom. We definitely need to remember veterans every day.
People often forget Veterans on other days…. it is too bad it cant be more often. Having bot parents serve n the Korean War. a Father in Law as a career Gunny and Vietnam vet, two brother, my brother in law and hubby vets are all over! I am glad our congresswoman realizes the importance of vets and works for them. So many are forgotten and discarded.
Beautiful quotes. I love how many wonderful tributes I saw to veterans yesterday on social media.
Very nice post and I enjoyed reading the quotes. I always like to see the clips of the military surprising their family when they come home unexpectedly. Makes me teary-eyed every time.
Very thoughtful selection of quotations. Thank you for rounding them up for us. And thanks to all the veterans out there, too! I proudly display the flag given to my mother when my uncle passed away; I think of him often, and how his service changed his life.
