For this review my husband received the Rechargeable 290 Lumens Flashlight from Dorcy. This flashlight comes with a 12v USB Car Charger and has all of the feature you want in a high-quality, multi-purpose flashlight!

When it comes to flashlights that hubby uses at work, they are all made by Dorcy and all of them have aluminum construction. Why you might ask? He’s hard on flashlights and uses them every single day on the job! He often drops them, so he needs them to stand up to a lot of wear & tear on the job.

This heavy-duty rechargeable flashlight has 3 settings: high, low and strobe light. The high setting is super bright and can light up an entire room. The strobe light is super cool and can be used for emergency lighting and the low light is perfect for when you need less bright light.

One of the best features with this flashlight is that it comes with a 12v USB Car Charger. Hubby loves that he can plug it into the cigarette lighter and charge the flashlight when he’s going from job to job. In addition, we do a LOT of traveling & camping, so it’s great to have this USB charger when you’re traveling around and need to recharge it while out on the road.

He describes it as a medium-weight flashlight, not as light as plastic ones, but definitely a super heavy-duty one that can handle just about anything you put it through. Finally, it likes that the handle is more slender because it fits more comfortably in his hand. He said if you’re looking for the perfect gift for a skilled tradesmen or for the handyman, this flashlight would be it!

    WOW, this is awesome! The Pro Series 200 Lumen LED Headlight with Tripod would be great to have for outdoor projects, like siding or windows. Or even cleaning the garage when it gets so dark and the lighting is SO bad out there! Thank you!

    I have a few flashlights that I have to go through and check for one that works each time I need one. It is frustrating. I light the idea of a rechargeable flashlight. The 520 Lumen LED Rechargeable Flashlight would be a good bright one for working outdoors.

    I would love to have the 500 LUMEN SPOTLIGHT. My backyard is very woodsy and not well lit. This would come in handy.
