Are you ready for cold and flu season? If not, it’s time to get prepared! The season is getting into full swing and odds are…you or a member of your household will end up with a cold or worst yet, the flu this year.
Every year when the month of October rolls around, I re-stock my medicine cabinet with all of the cold & flu season necessities. In addition, I stock up on facial tissues, puzzle books, gingerale, gatorade and soup! The last thing you want to do when you come down sick is run out to a retail store to pick up supplies.

One item that we use year round is called Simply Saline Nasal Mist. My husband and I both suffer with seasonal allergies and just like all of you, we get head colds during the late Fall & Winter seasons. Simply Saline is safe to use every day and it moisturizes & clears nasal congestion. I don’t know about all of you, but I’m completely miserable when my nasal passages get all congested up with junk. This nasal mist does a great job at clearing it out and moisturizing your nasal passages, so that you can breathe easier. A definite must-have in my book!
So, let me ask that question again. How many of you are ready for cold & flu season? Do you have your medicine cabinet stocked & ready to go?

we use a few of those products, but I also have to have some sort of Vapo Rub and a eucalyptus/cold and flu bath. Since my husband work on an organic farm we tent to treat a lot of illnesses with a more natural approach, and use turmeric water as an anti-inflammatory and headache treatment.
I have my medicine chest stocked the entire year. The one thing I add is NeilMed sinus rinse which I find to be very effective in clearing my sinuses.
Oh, I dread this time of year. Since I have diabetes, it seems everything I get hangs on twice as long. Ugh!
These are definitely great products to have on hand. I like to use Simply Saline Nasal Mist especially when I’m sick.
