If you’re unfamiliar with this company, They’re the manufacturer of playful products with serious educational value, including subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. Their products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that children love to learn when you make that learning experience fun!

For this Crafting with Kids feature we received a complimentary ILLUMI Craft Light-Up Jewelry Organizer Kit from Educational Insights. This craft kit is made for children ages 8 and up. It’s a great kit that helps to promote STEM Learning and little girls can engineer their own light-up room accessories.

ILLUMI Craft Light-Up Jewelry Organizer from Educational Insights

You simply follow the included instructions to construct a simple circuit, then use the super-sparkly stickers & other decorative materials to dazzle up your own design. The kit includes 5-color paint set, 3 sticker sheets, decorative paer and sparkly foam pieces, 2 LED lights with decorative plastic rings, battery box with included battery, and 2 feet of conductive copper tape.

I get together with my 7 1/2 year old granddaughter twice a month for crafting play dates. As soon as I saw this craft kit, I knew she would love it. Like most little girls, she has a ton of jewelry and this would be a cute way for her to display some of it. Plus, it allows her to get crafty creative at the same time!

Last week we sat down and worked on this craft project. She really took her time, thought about every step and design feature. She didn’t rush through it and really enjoyed the 2 hours she spent working on it. Furthermore, she was as pleased as a ripe peach with how it turned out and was super excited to return home to hang it up on her wall. I can just imagine how she loaded it up with some of her favorite jewelry pieces! Super cute!
