One of my favorite holidays every year happens to be Thanksgiving. I love getting together with our family and friends and sharing a good meal with them and I’m thankful for the little bit of time that I get to spend with them.
Every day of every year I’m thankful for many things. I’m thankful for my loving & supportive family, my two wonderful grandchildren, my ultra-supportive & loving husband and I’m thankful for The Classy Chics blog which keeps me entertained and occupied throughout the day. Okay I admit, sometimes it keeps me too occupied! I’m thankful for all of the great friends that I’ve made over the years who are faithful readers of the blog and I’m super thankful for the writers who help contribute content to the blog to keep it going strong.
Before I go and spend some time with my family, I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and please…take a much needed break from the internet today. The web will be here tomorrow!!! Get offline and spend some time with those that you love.
Happy Thanksgiving!
(Happy Thanksgiving 2016) A day late but I hope you all has a wonderful Thanksgiving Day together Shelly and family. Thank-you for your great blog also! 🙂
We have a really nice together on Thanksgiving this year. It was great seeing extended family members from out of state that we don’t get to see that often. I hope you had a nice time with your family!
For us Thanksgiving is another reminder how important our family is — our parents, siblings, children. Just a special day to stop your busy life and count your blessings.
I too am thankful for family, friends and pets. I love Thanksgiving the the feeling I get at this time of year. I am also thankful for this blog it is my very very favorite God Bless.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, too! And thanks for the advice about getting away from the internet for a while today. I live a few states away from my family, though, so it was nice to exchange emails and pictures with them earlier in the day before we all went off to our respective Thanksgiving celebrations.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours ! I think everyone no matter how bad things seem to be have things to be thankful for. We served a noon meal at the Salvation Army and ate there. It was nice to see people smile and come together. It wasnt ‘family’ yet it was the human family.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for the family to get together. Now that we moved near to one of our sons and the other has come to visit we have a lot to celebrate. Enjoy your Thanksgiving too.
